INSURANCE

To hire equipment through The Tool Hire Centre you'll need adequate hired in plant hire insurance. We are able to offer HireSecure Damage Waiver, it is charged at 15% of the equipment hire value. This insurance covers you for loss, theft and damage. It is subject to exclusions, excesses and conditions, a detailed summary of cover will be sent to you once insurance payment is processed. If you have your own insurance policy that includes cover for "hired in plant insurance", we'll need to check your insurance policy before we deliver equipment to your site address.

HIRE

During normal business hours please phone 01183 042450 and speak to our Hire Desk staff or log onto our website and order online. They will discuss your requirements and recommend the best equipment for the job. Please note that all new customers will have to provide two forms of ID one photographic, and one Utility bill with current address.

FUEL

You will be charged for a full tank of fuel on the machines you are hiring and refunded any fuel returned unused. All machines will be sent out with a full tank of fuel, before signing the delivery please ensure to check this, if the machine is not full please note the fuel amount then sign.

PAYMENTS

All bookings from a non-credit account customer require a pre authorisation from a credit or debit card as a deposit.

WELFARE UNITS

All welfare units are subject to a minimum of two weeks hire.

SIGNED PROOF OF DELIVERY

With every hire we require the recipient of the equipment to sign for the delivery and collection of the machine / kit especially if you have taken out hire with ourselves. If the delivery and collection notes are not signed the insurance then becomes void.

RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will retain your information for as long as necessary for the uses set out in this Policy. If you ask us to delete your information before that time, we may not be able to do so, due to technical, legal, regulatory and contractual constraints. If you ask for your account to be closed, we will do this as soon as is reasonably possible subject to any applicable terms and conditions relating to the account. Personal information from closed accounts is retained in order to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed or to resolve disputes. If we withdraw a product or service in relation to online interaction or transactions, we may either archive or delete the information you have provided to it.
